This is a Revolver is punk and alt-rock’s bastard child, a quartet from Los Angeles that slinky dinked onto the scene in March 2023 as a viscerally expressive and darkly humorous force. Known for their dynamic range, releasing a harder, driving punk song one day and a melancholic grunge track the next, the band fuses their diverse musical influences and filmmaking expertise to tell stories around family dysfunction, mental health, the patriarchy and political and religious disillusionment.

Their members bring together a unique blend of styles: Rudy, inspired by the raw intensity of DTLA punk; Nikki, a Bay Area native whose theatrical powerhouse vocals drive their lyrical storytelling; Matt Gossen, a Chicago-born bassist infusing a touch of pop-punk energy; and Taylor Frost, a seasoned drummer from Montana anchoring the band with over a decade of experience in LA’s rock scene.
